WESTERN-STYLE OR WE SAY ITALIAN - [DIARY]
Who is the father of the western-style food, France or Italy? As far as I am concerned, the answer is--Buffon, not Henry. Well, luckily I had the honor today enjoying my dinner in FAVOLA--a seasonal Italian cuisine prepared in an open show kitchen, also features a great bar,wine cellar, private dining room and chef's table. And this so called FAVOLA locates on the 8th floor of hotel Royal Meridian.

About one year ago, I used to live here for 3 days. You know, the sightscene looks great when you are standing beside the huge windows, the eastern shining pearl, JinMao towel or whatever, they are all painted on the glass square. For me, those experiance are my valuable treasures, allways.
Here come to the main topic.
Before this dinner, I've never taken a whole sorted Italian meal. So, I possessed great anticipation to take this, to enjoy this.
Aha, the first round is BREAD. Some Italian bread with hard envelope featuring 3 kind of jam--tomato, chichen liver and seafood flavor. They also provide vinegar and olive oil, if you like.
The second round comes the so called ANTIPASTO.

Assortment of seasonal antipastiTo tell the truth, these ANTIPASTO taste just so so, not my type, really. I just can't forget how sour those black olive taste.
All right, the main dishes finally uncover their veil, including PIZZA, STAKE and COD.

Baked ricotta cheese cake with chocolate chips and fig compoteDo not mention the cost performance when you are having a dinner in western-style, just enjoy it. Remember, you are not eating food but the environment and noblelike services. That's my opinion after all this.
Well, I do hope that I can enjoy this kind of meal whenever and wherever, someday soon perhaps.
